Our History
Sol Roche Geotechnical Consultancy Corporation was founded by foreign and Filipino nationals. The diversity, not only in nationalities but also in knowledge and experience was the key for the group to safely and successfully complete various Geotechnical projects they worked on together (more than 1000+ Boreholes and CPT completed in more than 50 projects in the last 5 years).
Their continued drive for success in the field of Geotechnical Engineering here in the Philippines led to the partnership that created Sol Roche, with the common goal of providing quality Geotechnical, Geophysical and Geological services at part with international and established local companies.
Vision
“No job can’t be done” is the core value of Sol Roche Geotechnical Consultancy Corporation. The name Sol Roche, Soil and Rock in French, was chosen as the company's name as this represents the basic element of the industry it’s catering to. The name, complemented by the company motto, means there is no geotechnical challenge Sol Roche cannot accomplish. This belief was borne from the collective experiences of the key business personnel, who already has experience working in various environmental conditions whether offshore, nearshore, or on land.
With the booming construction business in the Philippines and numerous infrastructure projects of both the government and the private sector, Sol Roche aims to be at the forefront of the ever-expanding Geotechnical and Geological services industry in the country.
Mission
To provide quality Geotechnical Services, following established international standards and using modern equipment such as electrical Cone Penetration Test, Field Vane Shear Test, undisturbed Sampling, etc.
To provide quality Geological services including field mapping, geohazard assessment, etc.
To provide quality Geophysical survey techniques such seismic Cone Penetration Test (sCPT), P-S Suspension Logging, etc.
To Provide quality laboratory tests with our own local laboratory and high-end technical tests with our international partners (Seismic Triaxial, Resonant Column).
To help promote the importance of Geotechnical and Geological studies prior to any groundworks or constructions projects in the country as indicated in the National Building Code of the Philippines.
